THE MÜRREN PALACE IS ALPINE JOY OF LIFE
Mürren is a very special mountain village in the Bernese Oberland. It enjoys a sunny location on a high plateau at 1650 m above sea level with spectacular panoramic views of the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau triumvirate. Nature commands respect and brings people closer together. Mürren and everyone who lives here are discreet and just as friendly.

TRADITION AND PERSPECTIVE
LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW MÜRREN PALACE
The Mürren Palace is rooted in the history of the mountain village and the breathtaking beauty of its surroundings. The success story of alpine skiing began in Mürren at the beginning of the 20th century. The Palace Hotel was the meeting place for the ski racing pioneers of the time, most of whom were British. It is the historic site of their friendships, the center of the village and a meeting place.
Sporting spirit and friendship are
more important here than status.
Our aim is to lead the 150-year history of the hotel, which is closely linked to Mürren, into a successful and sustainable future. For guests and locals alike, the Mürren Palace will once again become a unique “place to be”.
In Mürren, high mountains touch the sky. The new Palace is inspired by this beauty and promises its guests Alpine joie de vivre from the 2024/2025 winter season. In the hotel name “Mürren Palace”, the “Palace” pays tribute to the era of the grand hotels and is a promise of quality for the future.
