When the sun is shining, take the opportunity to take a trip to Lauterbrunnen. The impressive Staubbach Falls and the picturesque valley have inspired many writers. Visit the Tal- und Sagenmuseum, to delve even deeper into the fascinating history and culture of the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

The Mini-Museum Association organises display windows at various locations in Mürren on specific topics relating to the village. Discover more about the history on a tour of the village.
Hotel Regina Mürren
Another hotel steeped in history, which is one of the Swiss Historic Hotels, regularly organises exhibitions and lectures. It’s worth looking in the diary.
Talmuseum Lauterbrunnen
Lauterbrunnen is always worth a visit, travel back in time and learn more about the region.
Walks:
Mürren – Grütschalp
The easy and well-maintained trail leads via Winteregg with little ascent to Grütschalp railway station. Approx. 1 hour 15 minutes. The train takes you quickly back to Mürren.
Lauterbrunnen – Stechelberg
See with your own eyes what makes the valley so special. Count the waterfalls and cows along the way, it has a decelerating effect!

The Inferno race is launched. The race route from the Schilthorn to Lauterbrunnen is 15.8 kilometres long and has an altitude difference of 2150 metres

The British Ski Association organises the first Alpine World Championships in slalom and downhill in Mürren
